ME ME ME is Mikkel Malmberg as a band.
Also, it’s a 3-track EP with songs made in 2008.
I made an EP last year at this time. And thought I’d do it again. These songs have been underway for almost half a year. In many forms. So to move on to new tracks and get these out of the way, I worked for some days to make these presentable, made a nice cover and this page.
Everything (except maybe the instruments themselves) is made by me. Mostly late at night. If I could just capture the creative genious that convinces me to stay up so late, I would be the richest guy ever. I’ve begun practicing my piano skills. So the next EP might consist of 10 piano ballads. You’d like that, wouldn’t you.

The lyrics aren’t classic Shakespeare. Still, there’s some fun stuff in there. And some stuff from the heart. However stupid that might sound. There’s also a MySQL reference. Because I’m just such a stupid fucking geek.
The guitar in this pic is my roommate Mads’. It’s more expensive than my own. And sounds better for some kinds of guitar sounds – the nasty, clingy ones. I think I used it more than my own on these 3 tracks. When it comes to guitars I’m not really satisfied with my current method. I plug them directly into my Macbook instead of going through a real amp. It takes away some noice. And I think that’s a shame. Still with this method I get to play late at night without annoying any neighbours.
My friend Rasmus always says, he can imagine me playing the drums I program. Cause all drums on these songs are programmed. I guess there’s some truth in that. Everyone’s got their own style I guess. You never get any fancy guitar picking from me either. It’s always either simple melodies or chords.
